London
Another deliciously uneventful day, where I lazed around, Mum cooked and Dad pottered. This afternoon, we went into central London to check out the British Library, one of the world's largest research and reference libraries, which was recently relocated into a new building close to Kings Cross Station.
The Library has an amazing rare book and manuscript collection, including the original Magna Carta from 1215, the Gutenberg Bible, Shakespeare's First Folio of plays, the sea journals of Captain Cook from his exploration of the South Pacific, and Jane Austen's tiny little writing desk and spectacles.
Outside, Mum and Dad admired a memorial tree planted for Anne Frank, the statue of Sir Isaac Newton...
...and a view of the newly restored St Pancras station...

Hi guys
Pleased to see you all survived the perils of post communist Europe. Your pictures are brilliant John, we never got to Prague so enjoyed the sights. Go to see you are letting Mum have her cleaning and house keeping therapy on a regular basis. Does this mean you will need a housekeeper when they leave

Hi again
Saw a note today where there were 25000 people at the Stonehenge solstice. I look forward to your photos of M&M with the druids

Much as I would love to keep Mum and Dad around as my skivvies, I already have a cleaner!
We are donning our big capes and grabbing our sickles for a big Druid fest tonight.
